Safari #4 2/27/2022

Small update, didn't have many pictures today
Giraffes. Apparently a group of giraffes is called a parade of giraffes

Herd(?) of elephants in the shade. I think we counted 13.

More elephants

HE'S SO SMALL OMG I LOVE HIM (could be a girl idk, apparently you can tell by the shape of the head but I never understood that)

Our guide said he's probably less than a month old if I remember correctly, very young anyways

Orax? Idk, sounds correct. I like their horns

Baby zebra :)

Black faced monkeys

THESE SHOWER/TOILET DOORS SUCK THEY DONT HAVE A THINGAMABOB TO KEEP IT CLOSED AND NO LOCK AND YOU CAN STILL SEE THROUGH THE SIDES. I ENDED UP BRING A CHAIR IN WITH ME AND HANGING A TOWEL FROM THE TOP AND THAT DIDNT COVER COMPLETELY. WOULDNT RECOMEND. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

Safari #3 2/26/2022

!!!TW!!! CONTAINS GORE/IMAGE OF A CORPSE
IF THIS MAKES YOU UNCOMFORTABLE SKIP THE FIRST FEW IMAGES

Also a TRIPLE upload??? Dang! It is 11:10 pm though... eh

Rhino! I think it's a white one. The white (I think, could be the black rhinos though) rhinos backs dip in, while the black ones don't. The white ones aren't very territorial, while the black ones are.

Another old/retired general, don't remember which

When I tell you this smelled bad-
🤢🤢🤢
Only a couple days old

Rhino, this one could be a black one?
Curly tail :)

Jackles, they live in small groups, male, female, and their children. They tend to go after baby impalas (baby somethings)

A family of rhinos, the baby is so cuteee

Awwww :)

This Rhino charged the male of the family, the closest one in the first pic, the mom stood in the way though. Good momma

This is Barak (I think), he is a blind black rhino, he lost one eye in a fight and got a cataract in the other. WARNING: VERY FRIENDLY

We all fed and pet him, I do have pictures of me feeding him, but I'm uncomfortable on camera, so it's not going on :P. His favorite food is carrots, and his skin feels like hairy sandpaper, close to an elephants.

An elephant skull, the cavity at the back is where it's brain goes, kinda small lol.

Even though the giraffe neck has the same number of vertebrae as a humans, it's taller than an adult. My mom for comparison.

The animals that live here.

White rhinos socializing in the sun

Content :)

The rhino graveyard

So sad :(

Yup, we're back. Went back to the chimp place, wayyy better than last time!

First of all three instead of one including a baby.
We also went to a different cage, didn't see any there, but apparently a chimp learned how to turn off the electric fence! There are also two dangerous chimps here. There is actually a cage because of them, just not for them, it's for the people, if they get out, you lock yourself in the cage. I don't have a picture, my dad does, even if I did have it I wouldn't post it bc I'm in there.

Our first elephants! We were really hoping to see them

BIG

Pretty

Herd of retired generals

Buffalo with an oxpecker

Rainbow :)

Big herd of elephants

Baby

It's so small ❤❤❤

The guide said one of these lionesses has cubs

If you squint through a gap you can kind of se a baby lion! I have a video of three? Cubs playing. Apparently there is a lioness behind the bush, we couldn't see her though.

The waterhole at the camp. So many animals!

Me, mom and Kyla went ona night safari, apparently you see a lot of animals, especially predators. DO NOT RECOMEND IT WAS REALLY DARK, DIDNT SEE MUCH. 5% animals! 20% BORED. 75% asleep. Waste of time.

Mom and baby! Cuuute

I didn't realize hyena babies were. So. Darn. Cute. I want one. 15 minutes until midnight and have to get up at 6am ish... oops

April 20-24

The pictures went in SO WEIRD so they are completely jumbled and I'm too lazy to fix it so deal with it. Also the next update will pro...
