We got up way too early to go on a safari on a golf course at about 6:30, we did see this beautiful view of a peafowl silhouetted by the sunrise however.
Some weaver birds making nests, the males build the nests, then the females inspect them, if the nests are up to their standards, they are willing to mate with the male.
A herd of impala
An obandoned egg floating in the water :(
More weaver birds
Sorry it's not good quality, but hopefully it helps you see how many impala there are.
Our first zebra! There was another one, but it's not in this photo.
Cactus
A pretty tree I saw
During lunch I looked at the roof, I don't remember why, this was like a month ago 😬, and saw a peacock chilling.
While we were driving to another spot we saw our first ostriches! Mom really wanted to see these.
Camel! The people here use them to pay dowerys (I think that's how you spell it)
Lake Naivasha
Mom is a big fan of these splendid starlings, yes, that's actually their name.
This is a spoonbill, I sadly didn't get a picture of their 'spoon' though.
There were two types of pelicans here, the great white pelican, and the pink backed pelican. The great white pelican is bigger. ITS LITERALLY MASSIVE WHAT.
Bird. No clue what's it's called.
Our first hippo!
Our guide tossed a fish in the water and we saw one of these eagles (they aren't actually bald eagles, they just look like it, again I have no idea what they are called) fly after it. In this photo it's eating it.
One flew away
A male waterbuck, they are called this because they usually hang around water, and can swim away from predators, except alligators/crocodiles...
A female waterbuck
Giraffes
More hippos! I kind of like the hippos.
A black faced monkey
On our way back we saw more impala and some baboons.
